Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app:

1. Open Suppa and go to **Settings**. 2. Scroll to the bottom and tap **Delete Account**. 3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Account deletion permanently removes:

  • Your profile and preferences
  • All saved recipes and your recipe book
  • Your meal queue and grocery lists
  • Cooking session history
  • AI assistant conversations and memory
  • Feedback and ratings

If you are the owner of a shared plan, deleting your account will also delete the shared plan for all members. Please notify other members before proceeding.

Account deletion is irreversible. Make sure to export your data first if you want to keep a copy.

Data Export

You can export a copy of your personal data at any time:

1. Open Suppa and go to **Settings**. 2. Tap **Export My Data**. 3. A JSON file containing your profile, preferences, recipes, and other account data will be generated.

You can also export your data programmatically via the API endpoint `GET /api/profile/export` with a valid authentication token.

How does Suppa use AI?

Suppa uses AI (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) to generate meal plans, recipes, and cooking guidance based on your preferences. AI-generated content is provided for convenience and should be reviewed before use, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.

Is my data shared with third parties?

Your data is shared only with the services needed to run Suppa (database hosting, AI providers, error tracking). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. See our [Privacy Policy](/privacy) for details.

How does voice-assisted cooking work?

Voice-assisted Cook Mode streams audio to the OpenAI Realtime API for processing. Audio is not stored after the session ends. You can use Cook Mode without voice features at any time.
